This is what I learnt from today’s mass indoctrination.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
No man can do good except God works it out in us. According to the reference scripture stated above, It’s God that works in us to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Jesus Christ told the man that called him good that only God is good. So in order to do good, we must trust God to work it out in us and not our own abilities.
Bro Eli explained that we should learn to seek God.
Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
When we take time out to seek God we will find him, He wants to show himself to us and show us his word so that we can be grounded in his word.
Most times when believers are faced with challenges, we are overwhelmed because we are not well grounded in God’s word. Just like the parable of the sower. We should not let the word of God fall on stony heart or let the cares of this world choke the effectiveness of the word of God out of us.
The word of God has the ability to deliver victory in all situations, so we must let it stay in our hearts.
Bro Eli also encouraged that no matter how bad our hearts are, God can change it for good. We only need to seek him and we will find him, and we should trust him to help us.
