I think the homepage has a great layout, as well as the interface itself. It's my preference thus far.

It would be kickass if there were several homepages however. Perhaps another section with clickable blocks, that dropped down a DIV, with practical use cases.

The question would be, "How is this going to help me, personally?"

• For Businesses
• For Tribes
• For Developers

Past the homepage, and certainly under the hood, Peakd (and all of Hive, and even the former place) is very confusing. Believe me. I KNOW about the former place like the back of my hand and I'm already lost all over again. A newbie is going to be overwhelmed. Also, a newbie is going to be put off by social drama aspects.

I want to touch on the social drama aspects. A site like Medium is agnostic. Medium developers aren't at odds with other platforms nor demand loyalty thereto. I'm not suggesting anyone here is, however, my initial re-welcoming by a downvote bot left a deeply negative impression. As well as many here (and rightfully so due to the circumstances) distain for certain other platforms and foundations. Also, the expectations of what is quality can be painfully blog-snobby. Just being honest.

It should be understood what could block retention:

• Difficulty signing up and getting all the needed details and information to get from sign up to practical use - especially on mobile. Most people (that you want here) wont be using their laptop.

• Acceptance of the fact that most high end users from 1st world wallets will be using multiple platforms- including the former fork/chain. Any and all social network. Because their loyalty isn't to the chain, their loyalty is to their use of it. That's why everyone has handles on every platform (twitter, ig, fb, etc.) I'm not suggesting introducing them to it, but I'm saying it's inevitable.

• EDUCATION beyond the first post. It can't be deep dive into "What is blockchain." Education must be structured into tiers, like an Onion. Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced, Developers

• Time is valuable. While it's awesome that the community makes things for people to do like games, contests, etc. It can eventually get to a point where an influencer feels isolated and therefore these places can become toxic. How so? Just as an example, I'm on another chain right now that wants me "Involved" with so many things to the point where I'm not getting any work done. And it's certainly not been worth the payout- 1/100th minimum wage. A small influencer like myself makes about $3000USD a month online. Ecommerce folks do some 10K. Some do 50K. I know the reward pool isn't built for that. But the site has to be worthwhile: either to (a) onboard their folks (b) seek an audience among the users here already.

Excellent design. Lots of good information. Go a little deeper with USE CASES. At least bullet points.

What do you think of the 3 core principles of PeakD?

Sounds good. Looks nifty. Is it true?

Will the new home page help your friends?

Yes. Absolutely! However, it should be known that using NFTshowcase referral code comes with perks. Does using Peakd referral come with any? What's the benefit of onboarding through peakd? Obviously I can see that its better for a new user that is content centric and not NFT based. It's better for them. But what makes it worthwhile to me?

Forgive how selfish I sound writing all this. I approach marketing efforts and promotions from the understanding that the majority of business persons and creators are thinking in 80/20 self-centered ways. This blockchain must serve them. And this interface also.

Do you think true ownership is the main appeal of Hive? If not what do you think it is?

It's one of them! But how does that translate to THEM? When I sell blockchain my points that work are:

• No demonetization. No censorship. Strict TOS Why? Most platforms have content policies and will downstroke or demonetize you or shadow ban you if you don't comply. Example, millions of Youtubers lost their livelihoods. Secondarily, is Hive/Peakd willing to accept the creators who were demonetized who could use this platform most? I.e. Political Differences, Pornstars, Battle Rappers, Comedians who swear, Violent video games, Anarchists, Anon, etc.? I'm just speaking about who is using other social blockchain I'm on.

• Better Cheaper TOOLS (or build your own) Okay so here is the big problem out in the Social Media user community. All the tools cost MONEY. It can be broadly EXPENSIVE to create tokens, to have a mailing list to contact followers, to create paywalls, to manage their followers. Can PEAKD/HIVE/BEECHAT provide group messaging to all followers? To create lists for messaging? How can they FUNNEL their users around? Is there a PATREON type DAPP here? Is there a TIP button for their own Wordpress site? How can they use this for ecommerce? We could brainstorm all day!

• No Algorithm All Social Media monetizes it's users. They bring all their friends to the platform then can't see all the posts in order because of the algorithm. So they are forced to pay for promotion and advertising just so the people they onboarded see their own content. That's HORRIBLE! I promote a solution to that frustration.

• Affiliate friendly A problem with social media is that they frown upon shilling of their competitors, they hate affiliate links, etc. I promote that blockchain social media will not demonetize or ban you for being a legit affiliate marketer.

Do you have a testimonial you think would be a good addition to the home page that will help potential users "get it"?

Maybe, I'll think about it. I feel like I first must find some successful use of it myself. Right now, not yet.
