I'm asking, is it a sin to watch movies or is it the kind of movie you have to watch that is the problem?
This is a question we have to be asking ourselves. And we have to be asking with a serious heart. Which is the effect of the Bible, which is our guide.
So it's not that, as we got it, whether watching movies is a sin or not. We have also been taught in the Bible to watch our heart.
The scripture says in Proverbs 4 that once you keep your heart, it's out of the heart. The issues of life are generated. This has also been warned.
Movies can bring about immorality, violence, lies and the worldly lifestyle. Watching movies can facilitate the sin by motivating us. Because what we see is what we feel is reality. This also shows us there are evil movies around.
According to Philippians 4, we need to think those things which are true and honest, which are pure. Which are law and of good. Is it safe to watch movies, asking ourselves, when it comes to the moral lesson that we have to learn from this movie.
In conclusion, watching a film is not necessarily a sin. But to the point that we allow those evil and bad parts to part our life, is the most important thing there. When it does out of sin, then it is bad to watch movies.
