Lake Batur is one tourist destination both tourists from Indonesia and abroad. Lake Batur is located on the island of Bali, precisely located in District Kintamani, Bangli regency, Indonesia. From downtown Singaraja is about 58 kilometers and can be reached by driving and will take about 1 hour 30 minutes drive. But if you are from the city of Denpasar it will travel distance of about 64 Kilometers with travel time about 1 hour 45 minutes.
Lake Batur is the largest lake on the island of Bali. This lake water is very natural because it comes from rain water and seepage of water from the forest in the mountains of Batur. The surface area of this lake is about 16 Kilometers square with varying depth with an average depth of about 50 meters. UNESCO (Global Geopark Network) establishes this place as an Earth Park.
