Can't wait to get back inside my truck and hit the road...

For some unknown reasons, I didn't catch this initiative afresh. Regardless, I'll still chip in my blog stating my plans post-pandemic, after we conquer these deadly microorganisms. A huge thank you again to theycallmedan@theycallmedan for these chain of initiatives, connecting minds all around the world with the Hivechain. For what its worth, you can check out the initiative blog here: #WhenCoronaEnds Initiative

Considering how long people have been in lockdown in different countries of the world, things are looking very bleak. My country just extended our total lockdown with another two weeks making it almost a month or more we will be without work, hustle or going about to make a living. Sad truth is, we don't have the infrastructure or resources to go around and cater for people's need as we were locked in. Crime rate has quadrupled, just yesterday there was series of gunshots outside my apartment, armed robbers have invaded the whole city going from streets to street, Block to block robbing people at gunpoints of their food items and money.

As an optimist, I think things will go back to the way they are or even better, but it might take longer than expected. At this point, it's not a matter of being a pessimist to think things won't go back to normal situations, the world has been dented badly by this viral outbreak and from an economical standpoint, the numbers are way too depressing considering forecasts for a much more worse financial depression is looming.

As a survivor, I have highlighted some things to do after this global lockdown. Its revolves around my immediate family, my hustle and newer things. I missed my hustle as a private Hauler, that image was taken in early March this year before things got worse. There's a great difference between then and now, because I'm all hairy facially now and I had entered a no-shaving challenge in honour of those that lost the battle to coronavirus. I missed my shaving sessions bi-weekly, I miss my job as a Haulage service provider, I miss the road and traffic hassles, I miss making some hard earned stipends from it which is something I'm dedicated to making money off the Blockchain. I miss my Aunt with her family, she's my late mom's baby sister and the only mother figure I got left. One at a time I'll discuss the things I wish to do below.

Getting beards up...

Shaving my beards won't be the first thing I'll do because its a pledge to people who lost their lives, the first thing I'll do after this pandemic ends is going back to work straight away. I miss the old 5Tonnes Ford truck, as weird as this sounds; I missed the trouble making clients who annoyingly held on to over four weeks payments before going into enforced Quarantine. Although, getting the outstanding payments is paramount before further contracts as it will also determines whether we still work together or I find other clients that will stick to all terms and conditions of business.

Above all, I hope to get A Newer Bigger Truck from private investors to expand the business, hopefully this trying times doesn't affect their finances and plans to do business with us. If all things work fine, then I see myself hauling goods upcountry with the bigger trucks, if things go south, I guess I'm still stuck with the old ford and within city deliveries with my business partner, my big brother.

The second thing on my to-do list is to spend time with my Aunt's family, as it happens, she stayed up North in my country, closer to Boko Haram Troubled regions. My aunt lost her husband two years after my mom died, she lost her last born last year, she's emotionally unstable and the more reasons why I and my siblings try to spend some time with her and her two surviving children. It hurts me to see her cry just like my mom, it hurts me to know she has no one to talk to amidst the tribes she lives with. Additionally, its fun traveling up North for me because I get fed like a "Broiler Chicken" reared for the kill, I love travelling generally but spending time with my cousins and Aunt makes it more of a task for me, a manly presence is needed especially when the community you live in could go hostile on you at the turn of the tide.

Thirdly, aside family loves and business, I want to make new friends, good friends particularly not from my tribe. I'm fascinated by new languages and other cultures, even though its harder for me to master new tongues and dialects, making this another objective of my traveling up North, maybe I could find love in faraway strangers land.

Hopefully, a massive Bullrun comes soonest and I'll be able to go see my Nephew and his new baby sister continents aparts in far away Canada. This is the top on my to do list but it comes with a great deciding factor, that's why its down the tiers on the list. Its as equally important as my start up business because I haven't seen my immediate brother and family since 2015, this makes it very important but with an underlying factor. My new niece was the beautiful gift that came to us amidst the pandemic, I haven't seen his big brother which I introduced to the Steem chain back in 2017 and now I have a stronger cause to travel to Canada.

As a believer, though I have questioned my faith a couple of times, I know for sure that we will get our lives back again and much better than it was before the outbreak. I also believe a massive Bullrun will come despite forecast of a global financial plunge, I equally believe that I'll see you all on the other side of victory when we vanquished the virus. I send my prayers and warm condolences to those families that have lost their loved ones to COVID-19, I pray God grant them all inner peace to accept that which is taken from them and give them reasons to move on with their lives.

Thanks for reading.
