Every morning i get up before the sun does. Alas, its no fault of mine but its a sacrifice which i have to keep up with to enable me meet up with work everyday. Every night I lay in bed with a mobile phone ready to blurt out loud music when the three alarms i set for 3:30am, 3:45am and 4:00am finally hits their set time.
Then i wake up and still lay in bed staring down at my ceiling as it looks like it was the one that made me wake up so early but then i have to give up this staring competition to enable me start getting ready to catch the staff bus which leaves at 5:30am every day.
I sit up, say a prayer and drag my shorts wearing butts to the bathroom to lazily pick up my brush.I test out the shower to ascertain if its super cold or just cold, once the temperature is confirmed i dive straight into scrubbing and bathing my body.
Now that i am done trying to survive the cold shower, i do the lotions and hair products next while looking around to ensure my outfits for the day and the things i would need are set and ready as arranged yesterday night(Kindly do this always as i end up with a shitty day when i don't).I wade into my clothes and shoes, then confirm my chargers and all other things are ready for the day cause anything i forget would take an over one hour journey to get it.Set,ready, BOOM lets hit the road!
Off i go, jogging to the bustop at 5:00 am to ensure i get there in time to catch a bus to the general bus stop.During this short run, i shoot quick glances around to ensure i am not being followed or tailed as that would mean some shitty dude is about to mug me.Most days i gets buses super fast and other days a little late.Soon a bus passes by and stops to pick me and other early risers who have lined up on the roadside to catch a bus too.
Finally we get to the pickup spot for the staff bus and the bus driver guides the bus to a stop to enable us all file in.Once we finish this process, we all fall asleep in our various chairs waking up at intervals due to the noise of the traffic and impatient drivers who hurl insults at each other.We go through this process everyday till we get to the office and finally alight into the day's work with a yay let's grind attitude.
NB: Guys i know waking up early is not too nice but don't let it drag and damage your day before it begins.Cheers guys!
