Oh my God how on earth could he have forgotten her birthday again this year, this was not the first time he will forget an important day like that in her life.
She was really upset but because she loved him, she still placed a call through to him to remind him that he was supposed to call her to at least give a birthday wish which he had simply forgotten to do.
His phone rang three times before he finally picked up the call.
Him: Hello baby, how are you doing?
Her: Good afternoon, how is work going I hope it is not too stressful?
Him: Working hard as usual and by the way did you get an alert on your phone, I sent you some cash.
Her: I have not received any alert, but please do you know what today's date is?
Him: Today, is I think 12th or thereabouts, why are you even asking me about the date?
Her: Because today is my birthday and you did not call again.
Him: Please baby I am sorry, but you should understand the fact that I am very busy and I have so many things in my head to think of.
Her: And since when did I become so much of a burden for you to think of?
Him: But, I am working hard for the both of us and I even still sent you some money to take good care of yourself and look good for me.
Her: So you think it is just about the money, you have forgotten that I work hard as well and I do not depend on you, please just keep your money to yourself.
She hung up the phone and she sobbed quietly because she has given her heart, her time and her everything to him, she does not deserve this treatment at all.
Just then, Kunle the guy who has been asking her out for a while now came to surprise her with a birthday present.
