There is a saying in my place here in Nigeria, that you might likely not know how much ability you possess until you are in a grave danger, in That very moment or situation when your life depends solely on you, then you will see the rush of Andrenaline, and the impossible things you never see yourself do will come to life.

You can't possibly imagine what you are capable of doing, especially when you face danger, you might possibly be the best jumper or runner

I have heard of story of people doing, impressive stuffs when they face extreme difficulty, an example is one of my neighbor in Lagos,He jumped from a Storey building, he was trying to escape from the hands of Armed robbers that are currently operating in the compound, he opened the Windows of his room and Jumped down through the Back of his house just to escape the robbers, it was after he reached to safety he remembered he Jumped a storey building without feeling pains.

I will be sharing a terrible occurrence that happened to me in the year 2021 in Konshisha LGA 2023.

It was a very horrible experience that i wont forget.

It all started when two communities that Boundary each other, The indegenes of Ojumole from Oju local Government and Bonta Community from Konshisha were fighting because of Land. Although the fight between these two have been happening frequently, in fact there have been destruction of Lives and properties too but the most annoying part of it all is that the state government didn't intervened.
I have never seen such a Dereliction of duty before, the former state Governor; Mr Samuel Ortom kept blind eyes to this unfortunate events until, the fight between the two communities leads to the death of 12 soldiers.

According to the reports, the soldiers were on illegal duties of bringing arms to the people of Ojumale, and the Bonta people from konshisha got to know and then they ambushed the soldiers and Killed 12 of them.

The soldiers retaliated by coming in troops the next day and destroying all the houses and anybody found around the vicinity where the occurrence took place. Although the place where am staying was the same Local Government area but its Quite a distance, the distance was almost one and half hours journey from l the Bonta community but to our greatest surprise the soldiers came after the 3rd day of the incidence and they started destroying properties, any body stopping them will definitely face death.

How it Happened

It was Just 7am, i was still on my bed when my friends called me, they told me to evacuate the area urgently, that soldiers are running on the rampage destroying properties and attacking people, i had very little time to prepare, i just took the money remaining with me amounting to almost four Hundred thousand Naira in cash, picked like 5 of my favourite clothes and shoes, before i can pack them in the bags, i saw people screaming and shouting from afar, My God, so quick?, I was thinking in my mind.
I hurriedly left the bulky load, i carried only my Back pack and off i went on my bike.

Amidst the pandemonium, I can hear some guns shots, people screaming and houses burning, i carried one of my neighbor on the bike, we planned to escape the soldiers by passing a shortcut that leads to another Town entirely, while speeding through the raging crowds, we reached the shortcut hoping to escape the soldiers only to meet them coming with full speed infront too,

I don't know what came over me, but i performed a skill on the bike which till now i can't really do again or remembered how i did it, I pressed the Brakes on motion and performed a 360 degree U turn.

Its was a narrow escape but we passed another way and miraculously i drived almost 2hours non stop in an unknown road and reached Gboko which was a different local government entirely.

I really thank God for my life, apart from the miracle of escaping death, all my shops were not destroyed in fact non of my Properties got burnt. We truly serve a miracle working God.
