# ENGLISH CONTENT
Hello everyone in this community! I'm surprised at how quickly today went by. It always happens when I'm checking my fabric bag to choose what I need. I guess I get so distracted looking at what's there (that's when I remember I already have some fabrics 😆) and before I know it, I've spent a couple of hours on it 😅 Luckily, the project I worked on today was quite simple, so I didn't get too exhausted. Although, I confess that part of me already wants to take a few days off... whoever said there's no worse boss than ourselves was right, haha. Anyway... I don't want to lose the habit of participating in contests, so before I miss it, I'm joining [round #278](https://peakd.com/hive-124452/@ladiesofhive/ladies-of-hive-community-contest-278).

### 🌎💚 If you could redesign the world in one small way, what would you change? 🌎💚
Without a doubt, respect for other forms of life. From the beginning, humans, like other animals, have had to hunt others for survival. Although, in the case of humans, we know that things change completely. If I had the power to make the world different, it would be to completely eliminate that human need to resort to violence. In these times, this is more than evident, and it's sad to see how the world has become, compared to what I expected it to be after so many technological advances.

The pursuit of peace increasingly seems more like a romantic ideal or something out of a science fiction novel than a reality. Instead, the pursuit of power is emphasized, regardless of the harm it may cause. If the opposite were true, and humanity's conscience were to cease being so violent, the world would no longer be so chaotic and would undoubtedly be a better place for all who inhabit it.

### 😊🌳 What simple joy do you think the world needs more of? 😊🌳
I could say many, haha, but I think one of them is truly contemplating nature. With the use of technology and the internet in our lives, it's more than clear that we've lost that ability to connect with nature and, therefore, with ourselves.
Before, I wished I had internet like everyone else, but now that I've become dependent on it, I've realized what I've lost. Previously, living in the countryside without that service, I made the most of my time, not only with my hobbies, but also by taking the time to be in the garden, simply listening to the sound of the wind in the trees, as well as the birds. In those moments, I felt enormous peace, and despite my problems, I was happy to be able to have that contact with nature. I even had that desire to go to a forest (now I'm scared, after having seen so many videos of how terrifying forests really are).

It's wonderful to see that some people feel the need to go to green spaces to detox, but likewise, there are those who find a walk outdoors "boring." The joy of breathing fresh air, seeing the wonders of nature, or simply feeling the warmth of the sun on our skin is something we need to rediscover, because it's the awareness that we are alive, and that alone should be enough to be happy.

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad! Me sorprende lo rápido que pasó el día de hoy, siempre me pasa cuando es momento de revisar en mi bolsa de telas para seleccionar las que necesito, supongo que me distraigo tanto viendo qué hay (en esos momentos, recuerdo las existencia de algunas telas 😆) y cuando menos me lo espero, he estado un par de horas en esa labor 😅 Por suerte, el proyecto al que le dediqué tiempo hoy, fue bastante sencillo, así que no me agoté tanto. Aunque, confieso que una parte de mí ya quiere tomarse unos días libres... el que dijo que no hay peor jefe que nosotros mismos, estaba en lo cierto jaja En fin... ### 🌎💚 Si pudieras rediseñar el mundo de una pequeña manera, ¿Qué cambiarías? 🌎💚
Sin duda, el respeto por las otras formas de vida. Desde los inicios, el ser humano, así como otros animales, han tenido que cazar a otros por supervivencia. Aunque, en el caso de los seres humanos, ya sabemos que las cosas cambian por completo. Si tuviera el poder para hacer que el mundo fuera diferente, sería desaparecer por completo esa necesidad humana de caer en la violencia. En los tiempos en los que estamos, esto es más que evidente y es triste ver cómo se ha vuelto el mundo, en comparación con lo que esperaba que fuera de él luego de tantos avances tecnológicos.

La búsqueda de la paz, cada vez parece más un idilio romántico o parte de una idea de un libro de ciencia ficción que una realidad y en su lugar, se realza la búsqueda del poder, sin importar el daño que se pueda provocar en el proceso. Si fuese todo lo contrario y la conciencia del ser humano dejase de ser tan violenta, el mundo dejaría de ser tan caótico y sería sin duda un lugar mejor para todos los que habitamos en él.

### 😊🌳 ¿De qué simple alegría crees que el mundo necesita más? 😊🌳
Podría decirse que de muchas jaja pero considero que una de ellas es la contemplación real a la naturaleza. Con el uso de la tecnología y la internet en nuestras vidas, está más que demostrado que hemos perdido esa capacidad de conectarnos con la naturaleza y por ende con nosotros mismos.
Antes deseaba tener internet como el resto, pero ahora que me he vuelto dependiente, me di cuenta de lo que había perdido con ello. Anteriormente, al vivir en el campo y sin ese servicio, aprovechaba al máximo mi tiempo, no sólo en mis hobbies, sino también me tomaba el tiempo de estar un rato en el jardín, simplemente escuchando el sonido del viento en los árboles, así como el de los pájaros. En esos momentos, sentía una enorme paz y a pesar de mis problemas, me alegraba al poder tener ese contacto con la naturaleza. Inclusive, tenía ese deseo de ir a un bosque (ahora me da miedo, luego de haber visto tantos videos de lo terrorífico que son los bosques en realidad).

Es grato ver que hay personas que sienten esa necesidad de ir a lugares verdes, con el fin de desintoxicarse, pero del mismo modo, hay quienes ven "aburrido" una caminata al aire libre. La alegría por respirar aire puro, ver las maravillas de la naturaleza o simplemente, sentir lo cálido del sol en la piel, es algo que necesitamos recuperar, porque es la conciencia de que estamos vivos y sencillamente eso, debería ser suficiente para ser felices.
