Last few months ago, my maternal grandmother was admitted and was in the intensive care unit. We thought, it was her last battle but she surpassed those day and went home alive , safe and happy. She was truly a fighter, a strong woman eversince I knew her life. She was a farmer, a dressmaker and helped my grandfather raising their 8 children.She was also active in church activities. Sunday was a day to worship.
I was not thinking that she will bid farewell to us last Wednesday dawn. For two days before her death, my sister noticed her talking with someone in the window and she said why you are always calling me. I don't know who you are. Then .y sister talked her if whom shevwas talking, she said that there were two men who talked with her and a lot of tiny children like dwarf. Maybe, there were angels who wanted to get her.

She was with my brother and my nephew and my sister who took responsibility to our grandmother who was turning 97 on August 2024.
She have 4 boys and 4 girls children living in differerent places in the country. Only two among our siblings stay in our barrio.
There are relatives requesting me to go home but I can't. Just like the death of my mother back 2022 I didnt go home and 2015 the death of my paternal grandmother. This is the reality of so many #ofw in this place. Sacrifices are being part of our life.
