@friendlymoose and today is all about Statue. Here is my entry.
Look at the Eagle on the Top and how the people below in sculpture.
Have you notice the Big Banana at the back of the man? Because Panabo is noted for the exporter of Banana around the globe.
This is a statue which I found in the old plaza of Panabo City, Davao Del Norte. I didn't expect to see this amazing statue that represent the value of a family and how they earned daily living, a greener pasture the people live their lives in this city. I saw the source of the livelihood in this statue. Panabo is located near the sea but a wide farmland accross the city. It is noted for the Stanfilco , TADECO BANANA PLANTATION who export banana around the world. I found at the back of this statue was about the banana and this part was how they made fishing as their source of income. Panabo sea has a big Bangs and Tilapia farm including prawn ad shrimps.
The statue if you see and observe it carefully, you can see it in the picture, the happy family together with their livelihood.
I was too happy for spending three months in my vacation. I have so many places that I visited this time. There are so many hidden treasures that Philippines had that I never know since I am already living most of my the time away from home for almost three decade. It happened unexpectedly. I am not fond of staying at home without earning. My mindset sets on how to earn but if time will set it for us, we cannot resist and every season of our life has a reason.There are so many interesting fact in my life that I only realized. It pooped us unknowingly in a wrong or either the right place. Maybe it happened in a wrong time or right. Only sentence I can say, it's God designed it for me and I owe this everything to Him above. Sorry for this is no longer about the contest but when I imagine how the statue told me the story upon my observation, it made me into tears. A lot of things happened in my life when I came this place Panabo. This is not my home, it is the home of my late husband where we met and made a family having only one child. Destiny separated our lives because of this place. I looked the statue, they are happy family but why? I was not given that chance to be happy in my life? Well, I'm sorry, it was and it is my destiny whom I could not resist.
