Looking in a distant land, while I was on the rooftop, there was a lot of questions got inside my mind. I wanted to fly like the pigeons in the sky. If I could only have wings but it was just a part of missing all the things I had been through from my last time vacation.
I miss the place and the people.
It was the sunrise of the place where I was born. I miss the way of living in a rural area with my parent and siblings. But today, we are all living in separate lives.
I missed the essence and aroma of our food cooked by the firewoods. It has a big difference from the food cooked in the gas range or rice cooker.
The pure chocolate in the morning from our own raised cacao could have the greatest taste using this in firewood. Wow, I'm so insane today thinking ofy younger years together with my family and grandparents.
At that time I was there, I was not just sleeping but keeping awake talking with my mother if I was home.
Looking at the backyard that was full of natural resources. They had a lot of plants and vegetables that gave them organic foods.
I went to the hill where the old church was standing before the earthquake but it was ruined to zero ground. I made me felt bad but I realized seeing the greeny part of the mountainside brought by the trees and other plants removed all the pain in my heart.
To the sea
I invited my sister to have a picnic in the nearest sea and how I was amazed by the damage made by the strong earthquake. The mangrove trees died. The seawater was no longer reaching the seashore for 2 kilometers. The reason for mangroves dying.
My sister and her husband prepared the foods from the sea.

I saw the boat in the sea, it looked so wonderful with the blue sky to reflect on the sea and the golden seaweeds under the sea.
This is the sanctuary for the fish and nobody is allowed to come in this place.
I was looking onward to the island of ofy hometown. We have two islets that belong to our town and they are all rich in natural aquatic resources. There are already so many foreigners living in those two islands.
Visit the swimming pool
I heard about the pool but my time in staying with my family was over, I need to go to Mindanao. I wasn't able to take a bath in the pool but I just visited it.
If I had my time but for the next visit, I will be back and enjoy the cold water from the mountain.
So tired , but talking selfie for the following day was the day to the place of my son.
There's no better place than our own native land. One day I will be back my beloved land Loon, Bohol Philippines. My heart belongs to you!
