Have a nice day everyone, my music lover friends in this community. I didn't know what song I should offer today for you until I realized for myself what I needed.

I came to Saudi Arabia to find greener pastures. It was a whirlwind decision, not my decision but it was my late husband. I had a business when I was 22 years supported by our employer. We got all the trust and they believed in us until one of their relatives got jealous of us when the business grew quickly and blooms. They stabbed me back. I don't want to talk more about it because it was a nightmare that followed me until now. It was the reason why I lived alone away from my family. Yes, it is my destiny and it is what was given to me. I accepted the unacceptable situation and moved forward. But the scars are still alive. I decided to sing this song as I considered myself like a bird, who is inside the cage, I want to fly away to see my family now and then but I am in prison with my work abroad for the sake of my family. Sacrifice for the country and family. We are the modern hero as they tagged us the #ofw (Overseas Filipino Workers) who are sending remittances from our Dollar salary. It helps our economy. Sometimes, so many times, loneliness visited my veins, my mind but I just closed my eyes with tears overflowing to wash away the pain.

On the other side, I became successful in my endeavor. Three of my siblings became professionals and my son graduated too. They don't need to be away from their own family. My sacrifices are enough for the better living of my siblings and son. At this moment of writing this, the only thing that I see is the lyrics of the song Skyline Pigeons

Here is my entry for today and thank you to the one who chose the theme. Everyone needs ethical freedom for a cause no matter how it goes in a good manner with God's guidance.

One day, I will be in my homeland. As of now, I am still in a cage, not enough freedom to move though they are good Samaritan employers. Everything has a reason why I came to this family when my boss was diagnosed with breast cancer. I took care of their children and they were all small children before and I did it. Today, she survived, and like the bird, I am willing to have freedom on the day!

Lyrics: SKYLINE PIGEON

Turn me loose from your hands
Let me fly to distant lands
Over green fields, trees and mountains
Flowers and forest fountains
Home along the lanes of the skyway

For this dark and lonely room
Projects a shadow cast in gloom
And my eyes are mirrors
Of the world outside
Thinking of the ways
That the wind can turn the tide
And these shadows turn
From purple into grey
For just a skyline pigeon
Dreaming of the open
Waiting for the day
That he can spread his wings
And fly away again

Fly away, skyline pigeon fly
Towards the dreams
You've left so very far behind
Fly away, skyline pigeon fly
Towards the dreams
You've left so very far behind

Let me wake up in the morning
To the smell of new mowed hay
To laugh and cry, to live and die
In the brightness of my day
I wanna hear the pealing bells
Of distant churches sing
But most of all please free me from
This aching metal ring
And open out this cage towards the sun
For just this skyline pigeon
Dreaming of the open
Waiting for the day
That he can spread his wings
And fly away again

Fly away, skyline pigeon fly
Towards the dreams
You've left so very far behind
Fly away, skyline pigeon fly
Towards the dreams
You've left so very
So very far behind
