You sound like someone who hasn't been thru much (or maybe just too young too truly understand).
This Gun isused in this way (maybe some for hunting, but...).
I was at the Anti-KKK protest here in Dayton (right in the middle of it) and even saw a few Black Panthers walking around with this same gun strapped to their chest (they were mostly peaceful, but they weren't doing that to hunt animals).
