It seems that the world is getting worse in many ways! When people hate others just because they're different, have a different religion, or simply have a different color of skin! When so-called 'hero' athletes make a gazillion dollars, and the real Hero's (police, firefighters, charity workers, etc.) make just enough to get by!
Then we have idiots like ISIS, Al-Queada, KKK, New Black Panthers, Nazi's and skinheads, who seem to want to just destroy the whole world! And then people who say they want to help people, but secretly just crave the power and attention (Donald Trump and the like?).
It's all very discouraging, and it seems to be getting worse. In America, I know it's not as good a place as it once was: don't know if it's too many stupid and costly wars (that have sacrificed so many innocent lives, in places like Vietnam, Iraq); don't know if it's all the drugs and alcohol (the morgue at the coroners office here in Dayton stays in crisis, stacked with bodies of over-dose victims-mainly white people between the ages of 25-50). Or perhaps it's all the gang violence (which happens on a nightly basis, mainly involving black people). Don't know what is wrong, and Dayton isn't really that big, compared to other cities in the US (population around 200,000 or so).
Then we have all these people who walk around like zombies, seemingly unable to take their eyes off of their cell-phone-I'v almost run over someone like that, and someone staring down at their phone almost hit me head on one night! When did technology turn us into people who live thru a so-called 'smart' phone? Is the 'Matrix' approaching on the horizon? Whatever happened to living a 'real' life? And whatever happened to treating others as you would want to be treated (might want to ask that gang of teenage thugs who beat a man with Autism half to death, for no apparent reason-or the black people who did the same to a white kid in Chicago).
'What the World Needs Now is Love Sweet Love, it's the only thing that there's just too little of'!
