These sensations usually take you by surprise, that is why anguish, fear, uncertainty and confusion flutter in your head, especially if you do not have the necessary information to better understand what is happening to you, or if you do not have reliable people who can listen to you and guide you seriously.
You also usually have a group of friends of the same sex. In these groups they share experiences, anxieties and desires; They also tell the things that have happened to them with the person they like, and that helps to reassure the insecurity and doubts that these encounters generate.
Usually in the middle of adolescence, dating relationships become more common, which are short but very romantic and intense. Later on, romantic relationships become more lasting and stable, characterized by a greater concern for what the couple feels and desires. In these times there is also the concern to decide if they have genital or coital sex. In addition, in the adolescence sexual identity is consolidated, that is, the way a person feels, in the most intimate of their being, as a man or as a woman. Although this identity is the product of a long process that starts from childhood, in adolescence "is tested and tested" through all those behaviors towards people of the same sex and the opposite sex.
