Hi, friends!

My contribution to today's #colorchallenge by kalemandra@kalemandra

When I see these huge bushes of the goldenrod, well, I can not pass by! Firstly, they simply can not fail to notice, and secondly, their spicy flavor and beckons to him, and even on him there are always a lot of insects! That would seem to be a weed (so many gardeners consider it and even fight it on their plots, not letting it grow), but how beautiful it is !!!!!

As soon as it is not called among the people), for example, here are some of the most striking names: hare down, goldfish, golden pen, flea and many other interesting things. The birthplace of this plant is Canada, it was from there that once travelers brought it to Europe and Russia. If we compare, for example, the North American species and the European one, the former is less toxic and more beautiful. Its bushes reach more than 2 meters in height.

In folk medicine, the goldenrod occupies a special place. despite its toxicity, a lot of useful properties are contained in it. People who have cattle, always bypass the places where these huge bushes grow side, so there is a high probability of poisoning of cattle with toxic substances.

In ancient times, our ancestors decoction from the golden pen treated many diseases. This is an excellent diuretic, well disinfectant, excellent cough remedy, wound healing and many other useful properties conceals a plant. Even today, many people resort to folk remedies and use broths.
