I have a good friend back in Slovenia. He has a vinery and of course some really good wine.
His farm is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the country called Goriška brda.
It was a beautiful morning and we started early to explore the region and get some photos for posts. They even have a watchtower and our plan was perfectly thought out.
But as we usually do mistakes we also did one on that day.
Let's just say hello and drink a coffee with him and his wife and we'll take a tour among vineyards afterward; I said.
Big mistake.
Coffee was great. Italian style espresso.
You must try a glass of wine, he insisted.
But we didn't eat yet, was my defense.
No problem, well find something, don't worry.
Cheese, prosciutto, salami, figs. All homemade. Even the olive oil.
A glass of white wine; great.
Try this red one, it's gorgeous; we did.
We also have a new one he insisted; sparkling, champagne style; oh, really? Nice.
We tasted two more and my driving capabilities become kind of limited.
You can't drive now, they said. You can go later.
The photos in this post are all I got that day. I barely managed to get a couple of outdoor shots.
We just sit and chat and eat and drink.
Later on, we had a late lunch and more wine tasting and when we left was late and already dark outside.
No photos, but also no police on the roads.
Drunk driving; another stupid thing I did that day.
But hey, we only live once and we went through all kind of shit in our life.
OK, that's it for today.
And where are ads from the title?
This whole post is an ad.
It's so subtle and unnoticed that even my friend don't know about this.
Free promotion on Steem blockchain?
He should sign in and invest some money into steem power and give me a fat upvote for this.
On the next visit, I could pay him with steem instead in Euro.
One day maybe....
Who knows.
We live in a world where promotion is the norm. Without ads and promotion, there's no business.
Stop complaining about ads on steemit. You know they'll come eventually.
On partiko we all willingly clicking like crazy to show us adds to get some free worthless points.
I'm not ashamed to confess this.
I'm clicking too. Every day.
Maybe steemit. inc could follow the suit and reward us with a tiny piece of the big ad pie.
I'm sure it would taste good.
Time to go back to partiko and earn some free ad points.
Have a good one, my friends.
