Good plan and advice. Unfortunately, most Canadians can't follow your advice because they don't have any money in the bank. Just credit card debt, line of credit debt, and mortgages.

I did that a couple of years ago and it works fine for me. I hope it'll last, otherwise, I could always jump on the hamster wheel again, hehe.
