K-days is the main festival of the summer in Edmonton. You can find a lot of interesting stuff going on.
We visited it this week and I gathered some new material for you.
In the hidden far corner of the festival venue, away from the crowd, you can travel back in time.
Today I'll present you a piece of history of Western Canada.
The old gold mine. It's just an imitation of the real one and it only serves for the tourist and educational purpose but it's a good addition to the festival.
Gold digger at work.
Historic office building.
Sorry. I forgot to read what this cart serves for.
A primitive but efficient way to transport the dirt and sand for processing.
Kids learning how to find gold nuggets in the stream.
Old Mill.
It reminds me of a scene from an old movie.
I find it, I find it.
Keep digging, my friends. Maybe one day...
