Hello fellow Steemiters or is it Steemits?
I joined last week and have been busy learning the ins and outs. I must say, I love it.
I am an old dude keeping his brain alive by being involved in the development of the game Shroud of the Avatar, reading all the science new I can absorb and traveling.
I was born in England during WW2 so I guess I am a war baby and was dragged around the world by a father who could never settle down. Bahrain, Hong Kong, Cypress, Canada, Trinidad and USA with many short stops in between. Along the way I decided I liked Canada and have more or less stayed in Canada all my adult life. Married (twice), two kids + two step kids, six grand-kids but no gall bladder.
A friend of mine said, "You are the only guy I know that has his business card printed in pencil" because of the variety of jobs/careers I have enjoyed. Most of it has been in, under, or around water. I taught SCUBA diving, Skiing, Sailing, ran adventure tours and sailing vacations. I was a working diver and a free lance marine biologist who finally got teaching job so he could get a mortgage.
