The low tide was great for the tide pools a little earlier, I didn't realize it would be so good for the birds and seals also. I wish I would have taken a normal wide angle shot to show what my eye was

We are supposed to get an above average snow pack in the mountains this winter. We will see. We've been in drought conditions for so long I'm not sure what normal is anymore. :)

We seem to have several groups of 10-25 of them hanging around the area. Must be the right environment for them.

We had two families of them about 4 days apart hang out in our yard for a bit. I was surprised how quick and agile the babies were for how small they were. Like they had just hatched and were off and running.
