Local nice coffee shop that I can walk in and owner know by order went under. Store have better coffee and tea than the big chains as the owner use better beans but is getting killed on regulations and online sales.
So finally the mobile/online order shock wave is hitting another sector of the local small business. Mobile order skip the line app is taking another hit at the local coffee shop and it makes me sad to find less and less choices for my caffeine fix.
Hairstylist type services seems to be the last section of the small business that remain stable after the tsunami of online/mobile sweep through the city scape. It is kind of sad to see that all that is left is just big chains and big box stores.
Hopefully some smart business person can reinvent the local coffee shop soon. The average bad coffee from the big chains are getting harder and harder to stomach.
