So, I sat down the other day and actually did some calculations (rather than just guessing, as I often do) on whether my small crypto mining efforts were actually profitable anymore.
Umm, no, not so much. The best I have managed over the past month or so is to "make" less than 50 cents a day.
I have streamlined down to one PC with a few various Radeon cards. Question is, what crypto would make sense to just crank out and HODL as a longer term project (say a year)?
I am currently working on collecting a few Ravencoin - not especially profitable, but as I say at this point I am just trying to build up some reserves of coins without spending too much on electricity.
Any suggestions on worthwhile coins to mine and collect, using mid-to low end AMD Radeon cards? I can get about 60MH/s on Ethash and around 12 MH/s on Cryptonite x16r.
A tall order, I know...
