Happy Sepia Saturday!!!

P1100879.jpg

Not too many Sepia Saturdays left before the big pumpkin day, so I wanted to get a few more scenes of the season out before it was too late!

So for the uninitiated, what I like to do is find some shots that were taken recently and just plain change them up. Yep basically take a modern photo and try to recreate that warm look of yesteryear. To do this first I try to crop out most of the obvious clues that would give away the time period. I use some sepia tones along with some grain and perhaps a bit of vignetting to see if I can get it to look aged. 馃槃

Of course there are no right or wrong answers as to how you create your art. Clearly there are no hard and fast rules that dictate a good sepia shot.

Feel free to join in the sepia fun...
