Well I sat down to write my typical beautiful Sublime Sunday post that I very much enjoy doing on a weekly basis. My intentions were good and pure, but were surely derailed by my making the crucial mistake of reading a bit of news first. As you may have heard already, in Traverse City Michigan, 11 people at a Walmart were stabbed and are in the local hospital. The authorities arrested the perpetrator yesterday but for some unknown reason they are refusing to release the identity of the 42-year-old man that tried to kill these folks.
May I just ask the rhetorical question that pertains to most issues of government whether it be the Epstein files or daily interactions with the local government: when will we the people start demanding more transparency from our government?? I think the simple answer is the government is well beyond the reach of the people. All forms of government here today are just simply out of control. There is no accountability and there never will be. I actually am afraid that they know it and we know it too.

Through all the crap I reckon many of us still have much to be thankful for. I know I sure do.
