Welcome to Tree Tuesday!
I like these shots of the dead trees on a sand dune. However I did not want to end up dead trying to get them lol. This is near the summit of a huge sand dune that was a proper workout to get up!
It is as close to a vertical ascent as I want to try. Let me be clear is it extremely steep and the fun part it for ever three steps you advance, you give back two! As you can see it is nicely wooded around the dunes.
I dont know all or even many of the tree names whether by the bark or the leaves. I would like to know it better. However, I do recognize these tips of three as being Sassafras leaves.
The higher up you go on the dunes, the less trees there are. Notice all the tire tread prints. They let you run vehicles up on the dunes.
I hope your Tree Tuesday is a good one!
