Well I figured since I started up the Tree Tuesday tag, I best get a post up! Even if it will be a bit on the tardy side.

Welcome to my

Tree Tuesday!

So it is easy for the regulars to see that is not the usual lake view I am always showing. That is because we are on the campus of Eastern Michigan University today.

I know my school never tried to keep the lawn looking this nice!

Amazon even is renting space from the school!

Along the pond, I saw these growing. Not sure if it is an actual tree, or shrub, but reminded me of palms in a way.

At the base of these tree-like doers, there was a stand of these nice flowers!

I am happy to report that the school clearly has an eye for keeping trees...

As well as maintaining a spot for flowers and a natural habitat.

Which is exactly where I spotted this hard working pine tree! Just look at all the cones he has made already!
