My tears are dried up,
Like a river that forgot its source,
Because I have disconnected my heart,
From the things I see,
The circumstances that are around me.
Sometimes, these circumstances are beyond me,
Like the tower of Babel,
Far higher than my imagination,
My tears won't bring them down,
So I dried up my tears.
Sometimes, these circumstances are below me,
I can't bear to bring myself to their level,
So to maintain my position,
I must keep my heads up,
And my eyes on the prize.
For this cause, I dried my tears up,
Before, they were like rivers,
Flowing endlessly and tirelessly,
But now, I have manned up,
I have moved on.
My tears are dried up,
Because I cannot waste my time crying,
I cannot disturb my beautiful head with aches,
I can't stain my pretty/cute face with tears,
So I dried my tears up.
Drying it up doesn't mean you are hiding emotions. It's okay to cry. Drying it means accepting the things you can't control and moving on as you heal along the way...
Thank you for your time.
My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.
Still me,
My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.
