Carbon composition resistors (CCR) consist of a solid cylindrical resistive element with embedded wire leads or metal end caps to which the lead wires are attached. The body of the resistor is protected

A single in line (SIL) resistor package with 8 individual 47 ohm resistors. This package is also known as a SIP-9. One end of each resistor is connected to a separate pin and the other ends are all connected

The notation to state a resistor's value in a circuit diagram varies. One common scheme is the RKM code following IEC 60062. It avoids using a decimal separator and replaces the decimal separator with

A resistor is a passive two-terminal electrical component that implements electrical resistance as a circuit element. In electronic circuits, resistors are used to reduce current flow, adjust signal levels,

Name Electrical Symbol Alternate Symbol Function Description ground A connection to earth. Used for zero potential reference and electrical shock protection. equipotentiality Equipotentiality is a symbol

A ground symbol (IEC symbol 5017) identifies a ground terminal. It can be used for a zero potential reference point from where current is measured. It is also for electrical shock protection. There are

Electronics is a branch of an engineering, which deals with electronic and electrical circuits like Integrated circuits, Transmitters, and Receiver etc. The electronic circuit is defined as it is a combination

Peripherals are commonly divided into three kinds: input devices, output devices, and storage devices (which partake of the characteristics of the first two). An input device converts incoming data and

The computer as we know it today had its beginning with a 19th century English mathematics professor name Charles Babbage. He designed the Analytical Engine and it was this design that the basic framework

Basic Electrical Symbols. Ground or Earth. A ground symbol (IEC symbol 5017) identifies a ground terminal. Resistor. A resistor reduces current flow. Switch. Disconnects the current when open. Capacitor.

An electronic circuit comprises of various types of components, which are classified into two types: active components like transistors, diodes, IC’s; and passive components like capacitors, resistors,
