Hello everyone! This is my first entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today I'm sharing a battle of mine in Modern Diamond Ranked
I fought an interesting battle wth the Going the Distance rule set.
This game has the following rule sets: Noxious Fumes, Up to Eleven, and Gong the Distance. I went with Astral Entity as my summoner. I also like Quix the Devious (with the Death element) here but I opted for Astral Entity because of the Noxious Fumes. I started with Drybone Raider, followed by Venari Marksrat. Next, I had triple speed control with Queen of Crows (which also nerfs ranged attacks and has Return Fire), Supply Runner, and Lira the Dark. The final slot was reserved for Dhampir Stalker. They went with Fernheart. They also started with Drybone Raider, followed by Uloth Dhampir. Next, they placed the 2 Martyr monsters (Venari Marksrat and Fungus Flinger), with Runemancer Florre in the middle. For the last slot, they put Gobson Bomber.
With my extra speed, I was able to take out their Drybone Raider before they attacked. They also took out mine but it got Resurrected. In round 2, I killed their next 2 monsters. However, Runemancer Florre got Martyr buffed and attacked before my Drybone Raider, killing it. The Poison took out their other Martyr monster. Mine were still faster and they took out their 2 monsters with 2 attacks.
