Hello feathered friends.
I'll share with you a few photos of spotted birds in the last few days. As in the previous post, I've spotted the usual birds for this time of year.
I first noticed a group of sparrows feeding along a street road. What’s interesting is that I’ve been having a hard time noticing sparrow females lately. This group is made up only of males. The mating season of sparrows starts in April, so nesting is definitely not the reason.
Next is a regular owl check. This time they were not in the mood to socialize. They were simply grumpy about my presence and the interruption of their rest.
The Eurasian collared doves often rest on power lines and antennas. They are easy to spot there but are often timid and fly away quickly.
Magpies are more careful and timid than Eurasian collared doves, and as soon as they feel the presence they fly away to safety.
They are mostly at the top of the trees as they observe the surroundings.
Rooks are still the most numerous and fly in large flocks.
A novelty compared to the last post is that now common buzzards can be found in a populated area.
