Hello friends,

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Title: The Danube birds

I enjoyed bird watching while walking along the Danube bank a few days ago.
Although it was cold with constant rain, the environment was picturesque. To feed a large number of common bird species approached the coast.

This Eurasian coot or just common coot has black feathers and a white beak with a white plate on its forehead. It is a frequent visitor and regularly sails near rafts, where it also eats.

Several birds enjoyed being near the shore occasionally looking for food. Soon a mute swan approached them. A stark contrast to the little black-feathered bird. With its size, white feathers, and black hump above its beak, it is the exact opposite of coots.

Not far from there, a group of seagulls was resting on the rooftop of a restaurant boat, while light rain was constantly falling. Rain that is pleasant to walk on, but only properly dressed. Half an hour of walking in rain like this is enough to soak your clothes.

The most numerous species of wild ducks is the mallard. They are excellent swimmers and can often be seen floating or drying their feathers on stranded trees. Funny clumsy walkers that use their feet mostly for swimming in the water.
