Why is fasting and prayer recommendable?
Prayer and fasting move God and open the heavens for destiny exploits. “It came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven...” (Luke3:21-22).
Prayer and fasting transforms the person praying into a carrier of God’s glory. “And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glittering” (Luke 9:29).
Prayer and fasting generate and release divine power for destiny flight. “... The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results” (James 5:16 NLT).
Prayer exchanges man’s weakness for God’s strength and connects man’s helplessness to God’s help. “And Jabez called on the God of Israel, Saying, Oh, that thou wouldest bless inc indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, …And granted him that which he requested” (1 Chronicles 4:10).
Observe the prayer and fasting programme of this year with diligence and seriousness. Pay the price to settle your future gloriously. You cannot not fail.
