Prayer and faith are two potent force through which man connects to God and commands his attention. Prayer is the medium for asking but faith is the force which provokes our desired result.
Prayer is negotiation with God,we make supplications, requests and petitions through prayer, but it is not the currency with which we pay for our desires, Faith is.
Prayer negotiates Faith pays
Many have thought that once they have prayed, then they have done all there is to be done and so think that what they asked for will be delivered on the platform that they have prayed. we must have the required faith to pay for that which we desire of the lord.
Therefore i say unto you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that ye receive them , and ye shall have them Mark 11:24. So we see from this scripture that our desires are delivered to us on the condition of believing in God. You dont receive from God because you prayed, you receive because you paid the price of faith(believed).
Faith is the currency with which we pay for our request and desires in the spirit
You must have the capacity to pay for that which you desire from God. Your faith must be sure, steadfast and unwavering if we must receive anything from God.
But let him ask in faith,nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he will receive anything of the lord James 1:6.
When you desire what you cannot pay for, you dont get it. Desire should be conditioned by the faith (ability) to pay for it.
God expects us to be unmovable and unshakable in our faith towards him. He expects us to have his kind of faith, the total and absolutely belief in his power and ability to do all we can ask and even think. Our faith should be like that of a child. A childs faith and trust in the provisions of the mother is absolute and undaunted,the know that their mother always comes to their aid when they cry (pray). This should be our attitude of faith when we pray.
Invest in your faith through the study of the word till it is strong enough to move mountains. The God kind of faith is always productive. Dare to have the God kind of faith when you pray and you will see all your desires being meant one by one. There is no harm in believing but there is harm in not believing.
