Notable is just a engaging mark-down app with an attractive interface that doesn't use any WYSIWYG editor. Its Notes are pure Markdown files; their metadata is saved as Markdown front matter.
Its attachments are also plain files, if you attach a picture.jpg to a note everything about it will be maintained, and it will remain accessible like any other file.

What make Notable so different and unique?

• Notes are written and rendered in GitHub-flavored Markdown
• No WYSIWYG, no proprietary formats
• Notes support attachments
• Tags are indefinitely nest-able and can import Evernote notes
