Dollar short against nine IMM currency futures was close to unchanged in the week to April 3. Buying of GBP and JPY was offset by selling of EUR, CAD and AUD. Traders turned net-long the JPY for the first time since November 2016
Funds cut bullish commodities bets for a third week as trade tensions continued to take its toll on sentiment. Extended longs continued to be seen in crude oil, gas oil and cocoa while on the sell side silver, palladium, sugar, coffee and livestock all stood out.
