There's more to New York than the city! Here's a look at one of the many quiet, peaceful, and gorgeous spots along the Delaware River, this particular area just about 2 hours from NYC.

For your viewing pleasure, I present to you a quick cut of footage from the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreation River area.

Within this part of the National Park System, the Delaware River stretches for just over 73 miles along the New York and Pennsylvania border. Fun fact though: of the 55,575 acres within the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River area, only 30 (yes, thirty) acres are owned by the US government. The rest of the land is privately owned. But don't worry— there are tons of public access sites all up and down the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway! And remember to always Leave No Trace.
