Does karma exist? Or life just happens? Do people get rewards for what they do in life? Are our experiences in life a function of our inputs?
I have seen cruel men, people who organize serial killing of their fellow humans live a long and comfortable life. How did karma serve them their rewards? I have also seen good people who sacrificed all their lives working for the good of others, yet life troubles never spared them.
If karma truly exist, isn't bad things supposed to happen only to bad people? Why do some good people suffer ills the most?
From what I have seen happening around the world, I think life happens to everyone. The good and the bad people meet misfortunes alike. Good things of life also doesn't withdraw itself from coming to cruel men.
The believe in karma left me in misery for a very long time. All my life, I always sacrificed for others, but they end up hurting me most times. I never learnt to protect, defend or fight for myself because I relied on karma. But karma never did it job, and that brought me more agony. I assumed my karma in life would have been only the good things of life. I thought people who despitefully use others would get punished by nature some day. But that never happened.
Today I live my life free of that believe and life happenings no longer come as a shock to me. Ultimately, I live a happier life now than before.
I am not against what you believe. If you do think it does exist, share your thoughts in comments below.
