They saw no difference until someone taught them there was a difference.
Almost everything we know and believe today are things other people taught us. Funny enough, it is very difficult to unlearn what has been programmed into us. For instance, if you have been told all your life that somebody is a bad person, and you have unquestionably believed that, then your mind will always see bad things in that person irrespective of how the person is.
The things we have been taught against certain people are the reasons for racism, religious bigotry and intolerance, sexism and even wars. You can start saving humanity today by teaching them love and tolerance. What binds is together is greater than what tears us apart. Let your love or goodness not be restricted by Prejudice.
