Being a student is not easy.
Being a builder is not easy.
But being both at the same time? That's a different level of challenge.
Between lectures, assignments, and trying to survive on a small budget — finding time and energy to build something on Hive or crypto feels like carrying a heavy load.
What It Really Looks Like
Some days, I feel like I'm making progress.
Other days, I wonder if it's even worth it.
I see other people my age relaxing, spending, living without stress. And here I am thinking about power-ups, DCA, school fees, and how to stretch every cedi.
But then I remind myself: I'm not doing this to look cool.
I'm doing this so that one day I won't have to struggle the way I do now.
I'm doing this for my parents, who are still in the village, hoping their child will make it.
I'm doing this because I don't want to look back in 10 years and wonder "what if I had started sooner?"
Why I Keep Going
Building on Hive is slow. Powering up 50 or 100 HP doesn't feel like much. But over time, it adds up.
It's like planting seeds, you don't see the tree overnight. But if you keep watering it, one day it stands tall.
That's what keeps me going.
To Anyone Else Building While Studying
If you're reading this and you're in the same boat, keep going.
Don't compare your chapter 1 to someone else's chapter 20.
You're not behind. You're just early in your journey.
Are you also building while studying? What's one thing that keeps you consistent?
