I welcome you to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. Trust me when I say we humans are insatiable; not even the creator himself has been able to do something and we appreciate it without wanting more. We appreciate it, and then we start asking for more and going in search of more. The kids' parents are blessed to come from him and him (the creator) alone; he is believed to be a perfect God, but it is funny how some parents still think his creations (the children) he has given them are not perfect and need some modification.
If you give some parents the chance, they will always have some modifications to make. Despite the creator of all things doing his own thing, they will not want to modify just the genes, hormones, and DNA but will also want to modify the physical appearances, from the height and the looks on their faces to the hair color, hair texture, complexion, color of their eyes, and color of their lips; every single thing will be modified and altered, and it majorly revolves around our insatiability as humans.
We forget that the creator works with what you give him to give you what you get; he is not a magician. The baby you get is always and will always be a garbage in, garbage out kind of thing. You cannot be dark in complexion and be looking forward to having a white baby; your height cannot be below average, and then you start hoping and looking for a child whose height is above average. The creator creates, but with the materials that you provide him, he does not go and pick up those materials somewhere else.
The genes of both parents is what brings about any baby produced by the parents, no magic performed just working with what you provided him. So I feel if parents want better they should first of all check themselves properly and chooses wisely who they make babies with, not to make ba use with just anyone and be expecting that the creator corrects whatever comes later.
As much as I would love for parents to be able and allowed to alter their children's genes and DNA and make every and all the modifications they want, I will not support such a thing because we humans can get really greedy sometimes and want it all for ourselves; some parents will start to do too much modification and will even end up spoiling things for the baby because of our insatiability. They will keep making modifications until the baby starts to take a different shape and form. Some who are not even okay will start making modifications that will make their babies look like something else and claim that is what they want for their baby.
The wealthy and greedy ones will make a move to secure that technology for them and theirs only and cut the rest of the world from gaining access to it. For me, such a level of technology or permission is good, but it is only a matter of time before things go sour and tear the world apart, so it should not be allowed.
