My goodness, that is a LOT of strawberries!!! I would be in heaven. lol Strawberry jam, shortcake, scones... At least with a crop that large my kids wouldn't be able to eat them all before I could make something out of them!
I'm trying my hand at a strawberry plant this year, and it's blooming, so I suppose that's a good sign. I have it in a big pot right now, but I may decide to transfer it straight into the ground later on.
How funny your pup likes to eat them! I've never seen a dog eat strawberries. A few years back we were harvesting raspberries at my in-laws' place and our dog decided she really liked them, kept begging for more... but only freshly picked, perfectly ripe ones. She won't eat them from the store. Go figure!
