I remember the proud citezens that held each others hands across the
finnish line that was apartheid, I remember my brothers and sisters that
best described ubuntu through their actions, I remember the respect we had
one another when every man was still my brother, i remember the love we had
for one another when every women was still my sister, I remember the
children we were when we still gave up the seats for our elders, I remember
south africa.
Today we new and this is mzansi but i remember south africa. I mis the
people that fought for mzansi, they had bigger dreams than the one we
living today, like south africa is the bigger dream that was left behind,
when we moved forwad into mzansi we forgot the teachings of true south
africans like steve biko who taught you to write what you like, instead we
take what we want, robbing the descendents that stood strong ready to die
besides you, when it was still south africa, please mzansi, listen to south
africa and feed me knowledge, education is expensive, remember june 16
remember what south africans fought for, we trying to keep up with the rest
of the world leaving behind south africans chasing the dream mzansi
promised.
