Rotating chromed objects and a lilac silver lined cloth on the turntable while being lit by a UV light swinging on a string from the top and a line laser from the side.
The first one reminds me of the Bajoran wormhole in DS 9. A stop-motion with this setup should be interesting...
From the 3rd one onward I skipped the laser and used UV reactive straws, some whole, some cut into small pieces. On the last 3 I halted the rotation for one second at different angles and did a high contrast black and white conversion from raw.
