PoSToken (POS) is the world’s first Proof-of-Stake smart contract token on the Ethereum blockchain. Since PoSToken is based on the ERC20 Token standard it implements the Proof-of-Stake mechanism. Implementation of the Proof-of-Stake mechanism, means that each holder of POS tokens which means that any holder of PoSTokens will received extra tokens just by holding on to their PoSTokens for a period of time, greater than equal to the Minimum coin age of 3 days.

The aim of PoSToken is not only to implement a Proof-of-Stake mechanism but also to create or define a new Token standard for all Proof-of-Stake tokens in the cryptosphere. PoSToken developers have created an interface called PoSTokenStandard which help developers to easily issue Proof-of-Stake Token making PoSTokens a gaming changing standard.
The maximum supply for POS tokens are 10 million and initially 1 million would be distributed. The minimum coin age is 3 days and for the first year you will receive a 100% interest on your POS token holdings. Note that, you can invest by simply holding POS tokens as well as mining them. For the latter simply sending a any amount of POS tokens to your ETH wallet would be sufficient.
Airdrop and Bounty Programs
The PoSToken team has also decided to freely distribute tokens on the crypotosphere and they have started their 3rd round of airdrop from October 16th 2017 at 15:00 UTC till October 29th, 2017 at 15:00 UTC.
