The Eurasian white admiral (Limenitis camilla), kleine ijsvogelvlinder in Dutch, is a fairly large butterfly with a wingspan of about 65mm (2.6").
In The Netherlands, or "here", as we say, they fly from June to August, and are most often seen on or near bramble bushes, where they like to eat.
Numbers have been dwindling because of the desiccation and overgrowing of forests, the habitat of this species, and it is on the Red List.
Small numbers still can be found in my region of The Netherlands, like in the Aamsveen and around Twickel, in case you ever visit the east of The Netherlands:
Like many other butterfly species, it is having a hard time, but it is still hanging in there.
