🧡 OffChain Weekly Spotlight: Introducing Nelitie!
One of the greatest strengths of any community isn't that everyone thinks alike.
It's that everyone brings something different to the table.
At OffChain Luxembourg, you'll find developers, entrepreneurs, economists, designers, marketers... and lawyers.
Because if blockchain is going to reshape the future of finance, governance and digital infrastructure, it will need much more than technology alone.
It will need legal expertise, regulatory understanding and people capable of bridging innovation with the real world.
That's why we're delighted to introduce Nelitie!
A Luxembourg business lawyer with an impressive background spanning investment banking, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, PwC and now the Luxembourg Bar, Nelitie brings a unique perspective to our community and reminds us that blockchain is as much about people, law and collaboration as it is about code.
Let's hear from her!
Could you share a bit about your background and current focus?
"I’m a Luxembourg business lawyer and mother of two. After 10 years as a capital markets lawyer in a Paris investment bank, I continued my career at Luxembourg Stock Exchange and PwC before joining the Luxembourg Bar in 2019. Today, I advise local and international businesses while continuing to deepen my expertise in blockchain and digital assets."
What inspired you to join OffChain and what do you value the most about it?
"While working in PwC’s Regulatory & Compliance department, I also contributed to the 3W platform, writing about regulatory developments affecting the funds industry, including hot topics from the European Commission on DLTs. Researching these issues sparked my interest in blockchain and led me to explore the ecosystem further. When I discovered OffChain on LinkedIn, I found the ideal place to learn from technical experts while contributing my perspective as a business lawyer. What I value most is the openness of the community and the opportunity to continuously learn and share knowledge."
Beyond blockchain, what personal passion or pursuits fuel your creativity?
"I’m passionate about history, especially Black history, and Bible study. Painting is another creative outlet, and I had the opportunity to exhibit one of my collections in Vianden a few years ago. Today, I devote most of my time to advising and defending my clients while remaining actively involved in the professional and nonprofit associations I’m proud to support, including OffChain."
Where do you see OffChain heading in the future, and what excites you the most about it?
"I see OffChain becoming one of Europe’s leading blockchain communities while extending its reach far beyond Europe, including Africa. What excites me most is its collaborative spirit, practical initiatives like Innopay, the weekly meetups, and the opportunity to help shape trusted, innovative and accessible blockchain solutions together. Let’s make it happen!"
Thank you, Nelitie, for being part of the journey. 🧡
Your experience reminds us that the future of blockchain won't be built by one profession alone.
It will be built by people with different backgrounds, different perspectives and one shared ambition: creating solutions that make a real difference.
And that's exactly the kind of community we're proud to grow together!
