Having the right sidekick makes just about anything in life better, IMO.
I went 4x4 driving with a colleague while I live in Australia, up the mountain to where the Man from Snowy River had been filmed. That was a ton of fun. I still remember how we traversed a small river veeeeery slowly. Exciting!
Camping - yes and no. I grew up spending holidays in a tent and later in a caravan and I loved it, especially sitting in a tent with the rain - until the rain gets into the tent - no bueno. But camping in Australia? I don't know, it's kind of like here in the US - there's so many critters that might like to share my sleeping bag with me and I am 100 % certain I would not like that - hahaha.
Unfortunately, we cannot go hiking for longer anymore since hubby has got a bad foot and cannot walk for too long. We're trying to make up for it with other things, like surfing or bicycling when and where we can. We're definitely enjoying the outdoors.
Hmm, photos - let me think, most of the time we don't take photos of us when we're out and about but there's exceptions, of course.
