OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 787th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

#BeerSaturday Clowance Bar Sharps Atlantic IPA

Unfortunately the bar on sight is a bit limited so it was a pint of Sharps Atlantic IPA that took my fancy. Brewed locally in Rock on the north Cornwall Coast it hasn’t got to travel far.

Hardscaping & Masonry Progress

Another skill I harness is working with rocks! Quite ironic as I collect them also haha. They create a solid addition to any yard for stability, design & durability when done right.

This is about 2 months of work on this property. It started off as an overgrown backyard & I have transformed it into a functional space for the client.

Repression

I recently (3 months ago) mentioned that I moved to a completely different environment because, first and foremost, I wanted to get away from the big city life, the crowds, and the charge of negative energy that is always felt first in busy places. The move went so smoothly at first that even finding an apartment was simple. All of this seemed like a good sign to me, and it gave me even more motivation to stick with my decision until the end and truly leave everything I'd known so far, especially my everyday life.

Easy and beatifull hair upodos[Eng/Esp]

I confess that I suffered a little bit to make these hairstyles, because at the beginning they didn't come out the way I wanted them. But I kept practicing them several times, until I achieved my goal, which was to make these hairstyles. Now I feel that they are very simple, we just need to have the desire to do it.

Maquillaje artístico inspirado en una cebra🦓 | Animal Print [Esp-Eng]

Greetings to all handmade art lovers! Today I would like to share with you a makeup art that is part of the #11 animal print inspired initiative by @/hive-109548. This time based on the text of the invitation post, I selected the zebra print: it reveals uniqueness and balance. I am of the libra sign and balance on the scales has always been guiding. That's what I want to represent with this work to which, as always, I selected a song that alludes to the theme so I leave you with the video of my makeup and the song by Katy Perry - Firework.

DiY: Splitting Logs, and Selling Firewood

You see, a full cord should be 4 foot wide by 8 foot long, stacked 4 foot high. I've seen some people selling a cord for $175, but when you ask, or dig around a bit, you'll find out it's the price of a face cord which is a 3rd of the volume of a full cord. They'll also sell half cords, and claim they have a special bucket attached to a tractor that measures out an exact cord. We bought such a cord once, and the pile looked a bit small, but I doubted myself because it was on a hill, and in the snow. I ended upqying the guy his $215, and it took be a couple months to get around to stacking it... turned out to be just about half a cord if that!!!

Freshly Baked Sesame Croissants

I love cooking, but I also love baking and that is, what I have for you today. I wanted to try out something different and chose croissants. But not ordinary croissants.

Visiting the City of Smile and got a chance to meet fellow Hiver.

It’s been a while since the last time I was out in the office for fieldwork. If I remember it right the last time was 1st week of March 2020 and it was in Cebu. Then, the pandemic happened and my routine was cancelled. Stack in the office for almost two years. Unlike before; I am always out conducting spot audits or Inventory in our branches nationwide. My weekends are usually full as I have a flight for Vizmin (Visayas and Mindanao) areas or need to travel by land going to North or South Luzon. It was kind of tiring but I liked it as I got a chance to explore other places while being paid. Though mostly my time is limited as I still need to finish my job first. Then I had a flight to catch or Bus trip. In that case sleeping is out of my vocabulary. I can do that on other day’s right?

[WE 120] Green means health, perseverance and security.

The town of El Consejo in Aragua State is located between the cities of Caracas and Maracay in Venezuela and is characterized by its hot climate and spectacular landscapes dominated by trees of various types and its spectacular blue sky. It is an area that stands out for its wide spaces, destined to cultivate sugar cane, coffee, cotton, tobacco, cocoa and bananas.
